Family Faith Formation 2018-19: Love God + Love Your Neighbor
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Austin, TX
St. Catherine of Siena was a Third Order Dominican. As a true Dominican, she spent her life preaching the Word of God and exhorting, teaching, even imploring people to change their lives and grow closer to God. Since St. Catherine is our patron saint, we seek to grow in the Dominican charism of revealing Holy Truth - the Dominican motto - through Praising, Blessing and Preaching. Learn more about the Dominicans here.
In addition to learning about the Dominican charism, this year we also seek to learn more about St. Vincent de Paul and the order he founded, the Vincentians. The worldwide Society of St. Vincent de Paul also follows in his footsteps, in finding Christ through serving the poor. Click HERE to learn more about the work that the Vincentian family carries on in the world today.
