middle and high school students

Students in grades seven through eleven will register for the first year of Faith Formation as their current grade level.
For Year Two, the First Communion preparation class, they will use materials appropriate for their age.

academic models

All children, regardless of their academic model (public school, Catholic school, homeschool, private non-Catholic schools), should participate in their local parish catechetical programs for preparation of and reception of the sacraments and to participate fully in the life of their parish. “The parish is the most important locus in which the Christian community is formed and expressed” (General Directory for Catechesis, 257)
