Confirmation

The Confirmation Class is for students in grades 9 - 12 who completed two full years of Faith Formation immediately prior to this year.  (For example, a First Communion Class taken in second grade does not meet the requirement.)  Pre-Confirmation I and Pre-Confirmation II classes are the two classes to meet this expectation from the Diocese of Austin.  Click here for more information.

This year, the Confirmation Class will begin in October.  The most up-to-date calendar is on our website.

Students need to select a Confirmation Sponsor in the next few weeks.  According to Catholic teaching, a Confirmation Sponsor is not just someone who "stands up with you" at Confirmation.  Since the beginning of the Church, sponsors have helped prepare candidates for the Sacraments of Initiation and given testimony to their readiness.  The Confirmation Sponsor Covenant (to the right) must be completed by the Sponsor and turned in to the Faith Formation Office by the end of September.
